Kary is also Owner/President of Beach Home Paradise, LLC with Beach Front vacation rentals in Indian Shores, Florida and Island Cove Properties, LLC, a Real Estate Investment Company.
Prior to starting her own real estate ventures Kary served as Vice President of Operations for Newland Communities, a national master planned community developer. She was responsible all aspects of development for the award-winning, 4,500 acre master planned community, FishHawk Ranch. The largest Development of Regional Impact (DRI) in Hillsborough County. Kary’s responsibilities included overseeing all aspects of land development including land acquisition, land planning, zoning, entitlements, CDD & HOA formation and management, engineering, permitting, construction and lot sales. FishHawk Ranch consisted of 3,361 single family and 711 multifamily home sites, and 950 acres of commercial. In 2005 over 700 home sites were sold, with over 73 Million in revenue. The project's development budget was over 150 Million Dollars. Additional projects Kary worked on included Mira Bay, Waterset, Bexley Ranch and Covington Park.
Prior to her role with Newland Communities, Kary was Project Engineer with Heidt & Associates, Tampa’s premiere Civil Engineering Firm. Kary designed and managed projects such as master planned communities, multifamily and commercial projects, as well as guiding them through the zoning, permitting, and construction process.
